The EuroLeague, European basketball’s top club competition, has posted record viewership, attendance, and digital engagement figures for the 2025–26 regular season.

Across the first 25 rounds, global TV viewership reached 122.8 million (live and delayed), marking an 82% increase compared to the same period last season.

Growth in live game audiences was particularly notable across the league’s key markets, with the Balkans recording a 103% increase, while Italy and Israel posted gains of 77% and 76%, respectively.

France saw a 23% rise, with Turkey and Spain also contributing growth at 16% and 10%, while Germany maintained its cumulative audience despite having one fewer representative.

Combined viewership across live and delayed game action, as well as highlights consumption, grew by 8%, with 508.17 million fans tuning in to follow the competition.

Meanwhile, fan attendance at EuroLeague regular season games set a record with 3.25 million spectators across the competition. This represents an increase of 232,652 fans compared to the previous season, marking an 8% growth.

In terms of digital engagement, total video views on EuroLeague-owned platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube) surpassed the one-billion mark, climbing to 1.49 billion views over the course of the regular season, with impressions achieving more than 3 billion.

This continues a trend over the past five seasons, with the platforms recording double- and triple-digit increases since the 2021–22 season.

According to the EuroLeague, total reach has increased by 215% compared to the 2021–22 regular season, representing an additional 748.3 million users, while impressions have climbed by 478%, adding 2.5 million.

Video views have recorded one of the most significant gains, rising by 1,067% with an increase of 1.4 billion. Engagement has also grown, up 319% for an additional 57.6 million interactions.

The EuroLeague regular season concluded in April and is now in the playoff stage. The competition’s season-ending Final Four will be held between May 22 and 24 in Athens.

The 2025-26 campaign was the first to feature an expanded 20 teams with three new entrants - Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel), Valencia Basket (Spain), and debutants Dubai BC.
