The Spanish arm of international OTT sports streaming service DAZN has further consolidated its soccer rights holdings in Spain and Portugal, extending its exclusive broadcast rights agreement for the English Premier League through the 2030-31 campaign.
The pair’s current agreement, which ran until mid-2028, has been extended for a further three seasons, ensuring that DAZN will maintain the rights to the elite competition for over 10 seasons by the time it expires.
This deal spans every live game of the Premier League each season, 380 in total, and also comes with the rights to highlights from the FA Cup knockout tournament.

Reaching over a decade as partners demonstrates our mutual trust and motivates us to continue offering the most innovative and comprehensive coverage to our subscribers until 2030.”
A number of prominent Spanish and Portuguese players compete in the Premier League, including recent Spain World Cup winners Rodri (Manchester City), Pedro Porro (Tottenham Hotspur), Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi (both Arsenal), while well-known Portuguese players include Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, and Manchester City’s Matheus Nunes and Ruben Diaz.
This complements a domestic media rights package for DAZN in Spain that already includes the top-flight LaLiga, second-tier LaLiga Hypermotion, women’s top-flight Liga F, and most recently, the men’s third-tier Primera Federacion, alongside Spanish national team action also, making it a major destination for domestic soccer fans.
In terms of other recent DAZN activity in Spain, meanwhile, in June the service announced a multi-year deal through which it will cover French soccer's Ligue 1 in the former market.
DAZN is now exclusively showcasing every game from the top-flight competition, with two matches each week broadcast with Spanish-language commentary.
That deal ensures that DAZN holds the rights to all of Europe’s so-called ‘Big Five’ leagues (the English Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, and LaLiga) in the Spanish territory.
With the ‘Big 5’ league secured, DAZN is now padding out its offering with Europe’s other big soccer competitions.
Earlier today, DAZN confirmed that it had secured the rights to Dutch soccer’s top-flight Eredivisie, as well a the associated KNVB Cup knockout compeititon, the annual Dutch Super Cup game (between the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup Winners), and the 12-team Women’s Eredivisie.
