DAZN, the international sports streaming service, will continue to provide coverage of European soccer’s UEFA national team tournaments in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) after extending its rights agreement for another two years.

The early extension builds on DAZN’s current agreement covering UEFA national team tournaments, which was due to end after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and will see the platform continue to air the Nations League, including the qualifiers and final, European qualifiers for the European Championship (Euro), and selected international friendlies up to and including the flagship Euro 2028, hosted by the UK and Ireland.

Specifically, the extension covers qualification for Euro 2028, which will run from March to November in 2027, with the play-offs to be held in March 2028. The Euro 2028 finals are due to run roughly between June 9 and July 9 that year.

The next Nations League season, meanwhile, starts in September 2026, with the finals to be played in June 2027.

DAZN’s coverage excludes fixtures involving the German, Austrian, and Swiss national teams in their respective home markets, as other free-to-air (FTA) broadcasters hold the rights. DAZN will air those games on a delayed basis.

Domestic live rights for German national team matches are held by public service broadcasters ARD and ZDF, while in Austria, home team matches are aired by free-to-air channel Servus TV. Swiss public service broadcaster SRG SSR airs all matches played by the Swiss team through 2028.

The extension adds to DAZN’s portfolio of soccer rights in the DACH region, having already secured the rights to UEFA’s top-tier Champions League club competition, as well as top European leagues in Germany (Bundesliga), Spain (LaLiga), Italy (Serie A), and France (Ligue 1).

The announcement comes less than a month after UEFA announced the schedule for Euro 2028, with nine venues across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales staging fixtures and featuring 24 teams playing 51 games.
