WME Sports, the Endeavor-owned athlete representation business, has today announced the appointment of sports executive Joe Januszewski as senior vice-president and division head to lead its full-service global property solutions team.
He will take up the position on 30 August.
WME Sports’ global property solutions team delivers naming rights deals, premium hospitality offerings and suite sales strategies for sports teams, leagues and organisations.
Januszewski was most recently executive vice-president and chief revenue and marketing officer for the Texas Rangers, of Major League Baseball.
During his tenure with the franchise, he was responsible for ballpark naming rights, all partnerships, premium and ticket sales, as well as marketing and business analytics.
Prior to the Rangers, Januszewski held senior business roles at the Boston Red Sox and their Fenway Sports ownership group, and the San Diego Padres.
