UEFA, European soccer’s governing body, is set to begin the process of inviting bids from companies interested in producing a range of licensed products across four sectors.

These sectors are as follows: anti-counterfeiting authenticity identifiers, business accessories, manufacturer-unbranded wristwatches, and replica trophy products.

UEFA is aiming to strike licensing deals across these ranges for the 2024-27 cycle of its top-tier club competitions – the UEFA Champions League (UCL), Europa League, and Europa Conference League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Youth League, and UEFA Futsal Cup Finals.

Swiss-based UEFA is inviting proposals from “suitably qualified companies, ideally with experience working with sports properties.”

Separate sales processes for the aforementioned four product ranges will open by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023. Interested parties should email uccpartners@team.ch for more information.

At the end of October, UEFA began the process of selecting a partner for the creation of UEFA club competition shirt patches.

Again, UEFA is inviting proposals from suitably qualified companies, and the tender covers the organization's six men’s club competitions between 2024 and 2027.

The European soccer body is also currently carrying out a media rights tender process across those same competitions and that same cycle, in multiple markets.

Last week, that process went live in five countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
