International sports marketing agency Sportfive has extended its long-standing global media partnership with the Chicago Marathon through 2028.

Under the renewed agreement, Sportfive will continue to serve as the marathon’s international media rights partner and world feed producer, overseeing the creation, production, and distribution of the event's international live coverage.

The extension builds on a relationship established in 2015.

Current global broadcasters of the Chicago Marathon include ESPN throughout Central America, South America, and the Caribbean; Eurosport across Europe and the Indian Subcontinent; SMG in China; SuperSport in Sub-Saharan Africa; and FloSports in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

The domestic race broadcast is produced in Chicago and carried locally by WMAQ, the city’s NBC affiliate.

The 2026 edition of the Chicago Marathon will take place on October 11. The event is title-sponsored by Bank of America, a role it has held since 2007.
