The inaugural Sportel Rendez-vous Bali – the first event in the international Rendez-vous series for four years – took place in February 2023.
Laurent Puons, chief executive of Monaco Mediax – which runs the Bali event, as well as Sportel’s other 2024 conferences in Monaco and Buenos Aires, Argentina – has said: “Renewing Sportel in Bali is strategic considering the development of new technologies, digital engagement, innovation, and esport sectors in the region. In addition, as the fourth largest population and one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, the Indonesian population has a massive interest in sports and there is a huge development potential for sports broadcasting in the country."
Following Sportel Rendez-vous Bali, the conference will head to Argentina for the first time in May. Buenos Aires will take the slot which has been occupied by Miami for the last few years, across May 14 and 15.
This year's Sportel Monaco, meanwhile, is set to take place between October 28 and 30.
