The Scottish Football Association (FA) governing body has announced ticketing tech company Secutix as its official ticketing technology partner for events at its Hampden Park stadium.
The agreement, which begins in early 2024, allows the Scottish FA to utilize Secutix’s full suite of tools, covering all ticketed events at the stadium, including general admissions, hospitality, and debentures, where people and companies receive the rights to a seat for a period of time in return for investment.
The agreement also covers the introduction of a digital-first ticket approach for Hampden Park with a new Scottish FA-branded ticketing app, which has been built using Secutix’s Tixngo mobile ticket technology.
Additionally, the Scottish FA will introduce Secutix’s S-Pay, a centralized system for end-to-end ticket payment processing across all sales channels and payment methods, as well as the ticketing company’s S-360 solution, which will bring all of Hampden Park’s ticketing into one cloud-based platform.
Anton Fagan, head of stadium operations for the Scottish FA, said: “We saw for ourselves how good Secutix can be when Hampden Park acted as a host venue for Euro 2020 where Secutix successfully managed all the tournament tickets.
“They are leaders in ticketing technology and share our vision for Hampden Park as a multi-use venue. I’m confident this partnership will help us improve the experience for all fans and add real value to the organization at an exciting time for us, with our role as a Euro 2028 host venue on the horizon.”

By GlobalDataDavid Hornby, managing director of Secutix UK and Ireland added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Anton and his team. Our ambition is to bring fans a better ticketing experience, protecting them from bots and scalpers, and use innovation and fan data to really advance the Scottish FA’s goal of elevating the fan experience for all those attending events at Hampden Park.”
Secutix, which is Switzerland-headquartered, first established a permanent base in the UK and Ireland in 2016, with plans to grow in the region starting with a partnership as the ticketing partner of Saracens, the top-flight English rugby union team.
Late last year the company announced a partnership with Lusail International Circuit, the host of motor racing’s Formula 1 (F1) Qatar Grand Prix and motorcycling’s MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar.
The year before it secured a five-year contract to manage ticket sales for all events at Silverstone, the motorsport venue and organizer of F1’s British Grand Prix, and with UEFA in 2018.
