Ocvibe, a sports and entertainment district centered around the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, has announced a five-year live event partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts promotion and wrestling’s WWE, both part of the TKO Group.

As part of the deal, UFC and WWE will have at least three events each in the Honda Center through 2028.

These include UFC championship pay-per-views and Fight Nights, as well as WWE’s Raw and SmackDown events.

Ocvibe and UFC will also collaborate on hosting additional fan activities such as viewing parties.

Peter Dropick, executive vice president of UFC event development and operations added: “For nearly 20 years, Honda Center has been one of UFC’s most favorite venues to visit.

“Now the creation of Ocvibe will take the fan experience to the next level with all the innovative ways they will be able to activate around UFC and WWE events in one destination.”

The partnership premieres with the Honda Center hosting UFC 298: Volkanovski vs.Topuria on Saturday night (February 17), followed by WWE Monday Night Raw on Monday (February 19).

This makes the Honda Center the first venue to host back-to-back UFC and WWE events since the promotions merged under TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

The Honda Center hosted its first UFC event in April 2006, having hosted 10 UFC events in total, the most of any venue in the United States outside of Las Vegas.

UFC also holds the record for the highest-grossing event ever at Honda Center, with UFC 270: Ngannou vs. Gane, which had a gate of $5.29 million and a sold-out crowd of 17,387 in January 2022.

The Honda Center has also hosted more than 60 WWE events, with the next offering of Monday Night Raw set to be WWE’s 64th event at the venue.

Last month (January), TKO Group combined the commercial teams of UFC and WWE.
