The marketing and production arm of US top-tier basketball’s NBA has brought in the Horizon Sports and Experiences (HS&E) agency to support its global market expansion.

HS&E, a division of the Horizon Media agency, launched last month. Its co-chief executives are David Levy, former president of media conglomerate Turner, and Chris Weil, former chair and chief executive at Momentum Worldwide.

Now, NBA Entertainment has approached the agency to continue its international growth path.

Gregg Winik, the NBA’s president of content, and an executive producer, said: “During his many years as an NBA partner, David has demonstrated his creative and innovative approach to branding and growing businesses.

“Adding his expertise to HS&E’s strong data and analytics capabilities will help us better understand the needs of our fans and how to reach them.”

Levy added: “The NBA is a great brand, and I’m fortunate to have built long-term relationships with the professionals at the NBA based on trust, creativity, and results.
