North America’s Major League Soccer (MLS) has today extended its content distribution agreement with digital video platform STN Video.
Through the multi-year renewal, publishers will continue to have access to MLS coverage including highlights, game recaps, top plays, and interviews.
In addition to video content, STN Video publishing partners will now have access to thousands of articles that cover all aspects of the league, all written by MLS.
Over the course of its partnership so far, which started in 2019, STN Video claims to have helped publishers connect with MLS fans on over 15,000 videos, being viewed over 75 million times.
MLS content from STN Videos is available via Smart Match, the platform’s proprietary AI player functionality that reads article content and instantly populates it with the most relevant videos in its library.

STN Video is a platform that allows content publishers access to STN’s video player and, as such, content from partnered services. MLS is just one of several sports leagues that utilize STN Video services.
The company also renewed its partnership with American football's top-tier NFL earlier this month.
Elsewhere in major North American sports, STN Video has partnerships with Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.
STN Video has also been the exclusive highlights distribution partner of the PGA Tour, having done so since 2014. STN covers 100 official highlights per round for PGA Tour events as part of the deal, which it renewed in May 2022.
