The International Tennis Federation (ITF) governing body has announced the four host cities for the 2024 edition of its annual Davis Cup international team men’s tennis event finals group stage.

Bologna in Italy, the UK capital of London, the Spanish city of Valencia, and China’s Zhuhai, will all host Davis Cup fixtures with the draw to be decided on March 19.

The matches in Bologna will take place at the city’s Unipol Arena for the third consecutive edition.

The venue can hold between 11,000 and 20,000 people depending on the event, with the tennis seating arrangement likely to hold around 15,500.

Valencia’s 9,000-capacity Pabellon Fuente de San Luis Will also host Davis Cup matches for the third consecutive year.

2024 will mark the second consecutive year that Manchester’s 21-000 capacity AO Arena has hosted Davis Cup matches, while it will also be the first time that any Chinese venue has staged the competition when the 5,000-seater center court of Hengqin International Tennis Center hosts matches.

ITF president David Haggerty said: “The three returning hosts have track records for delivering great events, and we’re excited to bring the Davis Cup Finals to China for the first time – a location that will fit with player flow given the post-US Open Asia swing.”

The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final of the 2024 Davis Cup, as was the case with the 2023 and 2022 editions, will be played in Malaga, Spain.

The finals will take place across November 19-24 at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena.

This comes through the ITF’s partnership with the region of Andalucia, agreed in May 2023, which saw the ITF pledge to bring events including the Davis Cup and its women’s equivalent Billie Jean King Cup to the region.
