Football DataCo (FDC), the company jointly owned by English soccer’s top-tier Premier League, second-tier English Football League (EFL), and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), has announced a Request For Proposals (RFP) for a new data partner.

The RFP covers the provision of event data collection services, data capture, storage, and media distribution services from the start of the 2025-26 English and Scottish soccer seasons.

The deadline for submissions is February 23 and is separated into five modules, allowing companies to bid for either a single module, multiple modules, or all modules at once.

A separate RFP will be issued for the collection and distribution of betting data at the end of January 2024.

FDC said: “DataCo's RFP aims to identify partners capable of delivering innovative, forward-thinking solutions adaptable to the evolving requirements of end users.

“Recognizing the ongoing rate of change, the RFP emphasizes the importance of proposals that not only address current requirements but also showcase growth potential and flexibility to meet future demands.”
