This includes all games of the German Bundesliga champion Alba Berlin, the BBL-Pokal winner Bamberg Baskets, Baskets Bonn, and Rasta Vechta.
The 2026-27 BCL season will begin on October 6.
BCL rights were previously held in Germany by sports streaming platform Dyn Media.
Dyn had domestic rights to the 32-team competition from 2023-24 until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Patrick Comninos, BCL CEO, said: “Germany is one of the leading basketball markets in Europe. With four German clubs in the competition this season, as well as MagentaSport's excellent reach and coverage, we look forward to bringing the Basketball Champions League even closer to fans across the country and presenting our competition to an even wider audience.”
The addition of the BCL expands Deutsche Telekom’s basketball portfolio, which already includes Europe's elite EuroLeague and FIBA 3×3 competitions.
Dorothea Jacob, vice president of proposition and content at MagentaTV, added: “MagentaSport remains the home of basketball. After the extension of our cooperation with the German Basketball Association, we are sending the next strong signal as an innovative companion to the sport to make basketball even more popular and visible.”
