German soccer’s top-tier Bundesliga has struck a new agreement with prediction-wagers business Polymarket in the US ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The new multi-year agreement sees Polymarket become the Bundesliga’s official prediction market partner from the 2026-27 season, with Polymarket users in the US able to trade event contracts on the league’s match outcomes.

The deal includes digital and social content focused on match predictions and markets, with Polymarket US gaining exclusive rights to use Bundesliga and collective club intellectual property in a listed prediction market format.
Sportradar, the Bundesliga’s official sports wagering, streaming, and data partner, retains exclusive rights to distribute official league data, “with any provision of such data to Polymarket subject to a separate commercial agreement.”
Ari Borod, President of sports business development at Polymarket, said: “The Bundesliga is home to some of the most exciting players in world football, and its U.S. audience reflects that.
“An official partnership with the Bundesliga equips Polymarket to serve that audience with the credibility the league deserves.”
The agreement adds to Polymarket's growing portfolio of sports partners, having already secured agreements with the top-tier leagues in Spain (LaLiga), Italy (Serie A), and the US (MLS), as well as baseball’s MLB, ice hockey’s NHL and mixed martial arts’ UFC.
Earlier this month, Polymarket struck a deal with Mexican soccer’s top-flight Liga MX to serve as the official and exclusive prediction market sponsor of the league in the US.
Robin Austermann, Bundesliga Americas executive vice president, said: “Partnerships like this one are a testament to our long-term collaboration with Relevent to grow German soccer in the region, as we continue to showcase Football As It's Meant to Be in the Americas.”
The deal was brokered by Relevent Sports, the global sports and media rights company, which has a strategic partnership in place with the Bundesliga, struck in 2024, designed to expand the league’s commercial activities in the Americas.
Through a multi-faceted agreement, understood to be for at least 17 years, the two parties have worked to build out a Bundesliga Americas team featuring experts for content, marketing, PF, and sales who focus exclusively on the top-tier Bundesliga and second-tier Bundesliga 2.
After expanding its New York team, the Bundesliga launched a new content studio in Guadalajara, Mexico, in February 2025 to deliver localized content to fans across the region.
Relevent also has a similar tie-up with Spain’s top-tier LaLiga, struck in 2018, which saw the launch of the LaLiga North America joint venture as part of the 15-year agreement.
