The Jockey Club, the prominent UK horse racing organization, has reunited with sports betting brand Betway, which will sponsor 10 fixtures across three Jockey Club Racecourses this year.
The deal sees Betway secure title sponsorship for several meetings at the Jockey Club’s Newmarket, Haydock Park, and Market Rasen racecourses, starting from the ongoing Craven Meeting at Newmarket running between April 14 and 16.

Along with the Craven meeting, Betway assumes title sponsorship for Newmarket’s Grey Horse Race Day (August 15) and Cambridgeshire Friday (September 24), while also standing in as the official fixed odds betting partner at the premier Debenhams July Festival that runs from July 9 to 11.
At Haydock Park, Betway gains naming rights to seven races, including two Evening Racing events (May 29, July 3), Lester Piggott Day (May 30), Old Newton Cup Day (July 4), Lancaster Day (August 8), Tommy Whittle Day (December 19), and Las Fling (December 30).
Most prominently, Betway will take title sponsorship of Summer Plate Day at Market Rasen on July 18.
The races add to Betway’s strong sports portfolio, which includes sponsorship of English Premier League soccer clubs Arsenal, Manchester City, and Brighton, as well as world rugby union champions, the Springboks, and South Africa’s T20 cricket competition.
Lewis Knowles, PR Manager at Betway, said: "Betway sponsors some of the largest sporting events and teams globally, but it's great to see British racing make a welcome return to our portfolio.
“We were one of the largest supporters of racing in the last decade, with thousands of races carrying our name from 2015 to the Champion Chase at Cheltenham in 2024. This deal is a fantastic opportunity to align our brand with this wonderful sport once again.
“We have had great success working alongside The Jockey Club in the past, and everybody at Betway is thrilled to be resurrecting that partnership for 2026.''
The deal builds on Betway’s previous partnership with the Jockey Club, headlined by its sponsorship of the Queen Mother Championship Chase, and comes at a time when bookmakers have been cutting back on their sponsorship activity in the sport due to financial pressures.
Several races now sponsored by Betway were previously sponsored by rival Bet365, which exited its partnership citing “tough commercial decision” after UK tax changes were announced in the latest government budget.
Dan Glavin, betting partnerships manager at The Jockey Club, said: “It is fantastic news that Betway is renewing its association with The Jockey Club via this exciting new partnership.
“In addition to also becoming the fixed odds betting partner of the prestigious Debenhams July Festival at Newmarket, Betway will also have its name associated with a significant number of high-class racedays right the way through to the end of the year.
“The majority of these racedays will be broadcast live on ITV, providing significant brand exposure.”
UK commercial broadcaster ITV has held domestic rights to England's top horse racing events since 2017, with its current contract, signed in 2023, set to expire at the end of this year.
Last October, the broadcaster struck a four-year renewal with Racecourse Media Group, The Jockey Club, Arena Racing Company, and Ascot Racecourse to continue to air top-tier events from 2027 to 2030, including the Grand National, Royal Ascot, the Cheltenham Festival, and the Derby across its ITV1, ITV4, and STV linear channels, as well as on streaming services STV Player and ITVX.
Along with 117 days of live coverage per year, ITV will continue to showcase its morning racing program, The Opening Show.
