Turin will remain the home of the ATP Finals, the season-ending event on the men's tennis calendar, through 2027 after an extended agreement was struck by the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation.

The renewal follows five editions of the event in the Italian city, with a sixth set to take place in November 2026.

The ATP Finals were first held in Turin in 2021 after it replaced London as the event’s host city.

The 2025 edition attracted a record 229,879 spectators, a 9% increase on the previous year. Meanwhile, 7 million viewers tuned in to watch the final, making it the most-watched tennis match in Italian TV history (it has been claimed).

Globally, the event drew 218 million video views across ATP’s social channels, a 67% increase on 2024.

Prize money also reached an all-time high of $15.5 million, with Italian star Jannik Sinner earning $5.07 million after winning the title undefeated, the largest payout in the tournament’s history.

The 2026 edition will introduce a series of tournament upgrades, including an increase in seating capacity inside the Inalpi Arena to more than 13,500.

Four new courtside terraces and enhanced hospitality areas within the arena will also be added.

Andrea Gaudenzi, ATP chairman, commented: “Our flagship event has gone from strength to strength in Turin, attracting global audiences, showcasing the sport’s best players, and delivering a world-class fan experience.

“Over the past five years, Turin has become synonymous with the  ATP Finals, helping to elevate the event to new heights. The record-breaking numbers we’ve seen across prize money, fan attendance, and TV viewership are a testament to the dedication of FITP, the City of Turin, Nitto, and all our event partners.”

The ATP Finals will take place in Italy through 2030, with Japanese materials manufacturer Nitto confirmed as title partner throughout this period.

Nitto extended its title sponsorship in 2025 for another five years.

The ATP said host venue arrangements beyond 2027 “continue to be evaluated, with further updates to be provided in due course.”
