German soccer's top-tier Bundesliga has brought in Advanced Info Service (AIS), the major telecoms firm in Thailand, as a new domestic broadcast rights partner.

AIS was unveiled as a broadcast partner for the next three seasons of the 18-team Bundesliga (2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29) earlier today.

The company will air all nine games per gameweek from the German league, via its AIS Play platform. The next three editions of the curtain-raising German Supercup are also included in the deal.

Major international sports broadcaster BeIN Sports was the primary Bundesliga broadcaster in Thailand last season, through a three-year deal encompassing every game.

Bundesliga action in 2025-26 was also shown in Thailand by PPTV, the free-to-air channel, which aired two matches per week live, as well as highlights and a magazine-style show.

In addition to the live coverage of games, AIS will put on a range of marketing and promotional activations.

The telecoms heavyweight will also work alongside the Bundesliga, as part of a wider Memorandum of Understanding that the league signed with the Thailand Sports Authority three years ago.

Earlier this month, the league unveiled an innovative rights deal in Canada with the Creator Sports Network (CSN).

The agreement, struck with the Bundesliga Americas arm, will see the league and CSN work with creators to broadcast live streams of select matches in the market for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

In February, meanwhile, Bundesliga Americas agreed a new multi-year broadcast deal with US media giant Fox Corp in Mexico and Central America, covering the 2026-27 to 2030-31 seasons.

In terms of other sports rights held by AIS, over the past few months, it has shown action from the NBA and NFL.
