Pakistani telecommunications provider Zong 4G has announced it will broadcast English soccer's top-tier Premier in Pakistan through a collaboration with over-the-top streaming service Myco.
Zong customers will be able to stream PL games on the My Zong App courtesy of the agreement with Myco, which holds digital streaming rights to the competition in Pakistan.
The partnership also allows users of the My Zong App to view Pakistani cricket’s National T20 Cup competition, among other sporting competitions to which Myco holds the rights.
Zong had previously partnered with Myco to freely stream the ICC 2023 Cricket World Cup, also through the My Zong App, in a first collaboration that formed the groundwork for the current Premier League partnership.
Earlier in 2023 Myco secured the rights to the 2023 edition of the Pakistani Super League cricket competition across the Middle East and North Africa, showcasing its importance as a broadcaster in the Pakistani sports space.
Zong has also been expanding its reach in the sporting space beyond its partnership with Myco.
