International sports broadcaster BeIN Sports has consolidated its grand slam tennis portfolio across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region after renewing its exclusive rights to England’s Wimbledon Championships until 2030.

The renewal, struck with tournament organizer the All-England Lawn Tennis Club, will see BeIN continue to provide coverage of the tournament on its flagship sports network across 24 territories in the MENA region.

Along with linear programming, fans will also be able to access every match live and on demand via BeIN’s over-the-top platforms TOD and BeIN Connect.

The territories covered include Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen.

The broadcaster also holds the rights to Wimbledon in France in a deal running until 2028, having held the contract since 2014.

Paul Davies, the All-England Club’s associate director, broadcast, production and media rights, said: “Through its continued coverage of The Championships across key markets, including France and the Middle East and North Africa, beIN has established a strong track record of delivering high-quality coverage and connecting Wimbledon with audiences across multiple territories.

“Its extensive multi-platform distribution across broadcast and streaming services ensures fans can follow Wimbledon wherever and however they choose.”

The renewal strengthens BeIN’s position as the home of tennis in the MENA region, having secured rights to air the other three grand slam tournaments this year – the Australian Open, French Open, and US Open.

Ahead of last year’s edition of the Australian Open, BeIN renewed its exclusive rights deal through 2029, while it has a deal in place to air the US Open through 2027.

BeIN’s four-year rights deal for the French Open ended after this year’s edition, with the broadcaster airing the tournament since 2007.

Last year, the pay-TV giant announced the extension of its exclusive rights to the men’s  ATP Tour across MENA, Australia, and Southeast Asia until 2028. BeIN additionally holds ATP rights in Australia through 2027.

The broadcaster also has rights in MENA and France to show the men’s Davis Cup and women’s Billie Jean King (BJK) Cup national team competitions through 2026.

Mohammed Al-Derham, director of media rights at BeIN MENA, said: “Wimbledon is one of the most recognizable sporting events in the world, and we are delighted to continue working closely with the All-England Club, one of our most valued long-term partners, to bring this prestigious and much-loved tournament to fans across MENA.

“The agreement further strengthens beIN’s premium global sports offering and underlines our commitment to delivering world-class coverage to audiences across our territories.”

The renewal comes ahead of BeIN’s coverage of the upcoming 2026 edition, which will start with the qualifying competition from June 22 to 25 before the main draw runs between June 29 and July 12.

The broadcaster said this year’s programming will feature live match broadcasts, expert analysis, daily highlights, and on-site reporting from London, which will be distributed across five exclusive channels, with commentary available in Arabic, English, and French.
