Media and entertainment giant Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has shifted its free-to-air coverage of European soccer’s elite UEFA club competition finals from YouTube to its Discovery+ streaming platform in the UK.

The finals of this season's premier UEFA Champions League, secondary Europa League, and third-tier Europa Conference League, shown exclusively live on TNT Sports, will be available to watch for free on Discovery+ for the first time.

The games will also be shown in the UK on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate.

Coverage begins with the Europa League final on May 22, when Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen play Italy’s Atalanta at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

The following week, Greece’s Olympiacos will take on Italy’s Fiorentina in the Conference League climax on May 29 at the AEK Arena in Athens.

Finally, the showpiece Champions League final, in which Germany’s Borussia Dortmund take on 14-time winners Real Madrid, will be played at Wembley, London on June 1.

TNT Sports will roll out a week of programming in the lead up to the match at Wembley.

In recent years, TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), provided free coverage of the respective finals on its YouTube channel but WBD is strategically looking to increase subscribers for its Disocvery+ platform in the market.
