Veto, the subscription-free Indian OTT platform, has secured exclusive streaming rights in the country to the men’s Davis Cup national tennis team tournament.
Under the new agreement, Veto becomes the tournament’s official streaming partner in India for the rest of the 2026 edition and will air the second-round qualifiers and the Final Eight tournament, which will be held in Italy’s Bologna from November 24 to 29.

The 2026 Davis Cup season began in April with the first round of qualifiers, in which 13 match winners advanced to the next round.
The seven ties in the second round of qualifiers, played from September 18 to 20, will feature 14 nations across up to 35 matches to decide the seven teams that will join hosts and defending champions Italy at the 2026 Final Eight in November.
The new deal comes as India heads into a decisive spell of its Davis Cup campaign, with the team due to travel to South Korea for the second round of qualifiers, with a win sending them to the Final Eight tournament.
Veto has said it will stream India’s tie live as part of its wider Davis Cup coverage.
The India team beat Switzerland 3-1 in September 2025 to secure its first Davis Cup victory on European soil since 1993, before winning against the Netherlands 3-2 in Bengaluru in February to reach the second round.
For Veto, the deal marks its entrance into live sport, adding to its mix of news, movies, music, entertainment and kids programming.
DD Sports, India’s state-owned sports channel, aired India’s tie against the Netherlands earlier this year live, with coverage also provided by the Prasar Bharati Sports YouTube channel.
Coverage of the Davis Cup in India was previously provided by Sony Networks India under a two-year deal running between 2023 and 2024.
Veto managing director Ritu Dhawan said: “The Davis Cup is the World Cup of Tennis, and bringing its decisive stages to Indian audiences is a major milestone for Veto, with Team India on the brink of a historic Final Eight berth; fans have every reason to believe.
“When the nation is ready to cheer, every cheer matters, which is why VETO will offer the Davis Cup without any subscription fee.
“We want families across India to come together on the large screen and back Team India. This also strengthens our ambition to make live sport one of the core pillars of Veto.”
The new rights deal adds to the tournament’s recent commercial activity, which most recently saw it extend and expand its sponsorship agreement with credit card giant Visa, which continues as a prominent partner of this year’s edition.
Other sponsors for this year's Davis Cup include Rolex, Corpay, MG, and Swedish betting operator Betsson.
