TSN and Sportsnet, the Canadian pay-TV broadcasters, have renewed their long-standing rights deals with basketball’s NBA through 2035-36.
Under the 10-year deals, Bell Media’s sports-focused TSN and Rogers-owned Sportsnet will continue to share the 82 regular-season games involving the Toronto Raptors, Canada’s only NBA franchise, with each airing 41 games.

TSN also retained “extensive coverage of matchups from around the league”, while Sportsnet announced it will continue to air marquee events, including the NBA Playoffs and NBA Finals, as well as “hundreds of other matchups airing nationally.”
The deals come amid the NBA’s 11-year global rights deal with Prime Video, the streaming platform of e-commerce giant Amazon, which began with the 2025-26 season.
The deal sees it air 66 regular-season games, the NBA Cup, the Play-In tournament, select first-and second-round playoff games, and Conference Finals in Canada.
As part of its package, for the first time in Raptors history, select regular-season games have been made exclusive to Prime Video rather than airing on traditional Canadian carriers.
Prime Video is also offering NBA League Pass, the NBA’s subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games.
The new long-term deal consolidates TSN’s basketball portfolio for the next decade, having secured rights in the country to FIBA competitions, Canada Basketball games, as well as the matchups involving the WNBA’s Toronto Tempo.
