SNTV, the sports video news agency which is a joint venture between IMG and the Associated Press, has launched sntvPlay, a digital content service that will offer daily multi-sport video.
The service, SNTV has said, will “deliver a wide range of global sports coverage, including digitally-cleared highlights and news stories of the day from major sporting leagues and events.”
The service can be tailored to produce market and country-specific feeds, and SNTV has said the solution “provides digital partners with rights-cleared content for their territory and platform.”
The daily feed, meanwhile, will feature significant sports stories and other trending content.
James Dobbs, SNTVs managing director, said: “As the sports media landscape continues to fragment and become increasingly digitally focused, fans expect the best content to be available where they want, when they want. sntvPlay enables our digital publishers to satisfy this ever-growing demand, with a guaranteed source of premium sports content that will build audiences and drive revenue.”
Last June, SNTV launched a branded content division, Story10, which has so far provided services for major brands including Puma, Mercedes, Heineken and ABB, plus motor racing’s Extreme E, sailing’s SailGP, and UK horse racing’s Royal Ascot.
