Mediapro, the Spanish sports production and rights agency, has renewed its production and distribution deal with South American soccer’s governing body CONMEBOL through 2030.
Through the extended agreement, the company will take responsibility for producing and distributing the international feed for around 700 matches a year, plus the on-site production of every match played in Bolivia.

Mediapro will distribute broadcasts across CONMEBOL’s roster of prominent media partners, tailoring content to the likes of media giants Fox, ESPN, and Globo TV to enhance the content offering in different languages.
The Spanish firm will continue to operate the CONMEBOL Hub in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which facilitates the production of over 314 fixtures each year, and as many as 12 fixtures concurrently.
The hub, which opened in 2019 after Mediapro won the CONMEBOL production and distribution contract in September of that year, covers and distributes flagship club competitions such as the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and CONMEBOL Recopa, as well as the national team tournaments organized by the confederation.
In that time, Mediapro claims to have produced more than 3,500 matches.
The agreement between the two parties was last renewed in 2025.
Santiago Vila, country manager of Mediapro Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, said: “Continuing to work together strengthens our commitment to operational excellence and technological innovation in the service of South American football.
“We will keep working alongside CONMEBOL to support the growth of its competitions and deliver the highest standards of audiovisual production and distribution. Producing the matches in Bolivia is also an opportunity to keep strengthening our regional presence and bring our experience to new strategic markets for South American football.”
On January 1, Mediapro will rebrand as Imagina. The decision was unveiled in mid-September, with the group's parent company carrying the same name.
The move came as part of a significant wider review into the group's operations, and several months of internal reorganization.
In terms of recent activity, Mediapro was named as the host broadcast partner of the 2027 European Games.
