Marron Media, the Australian sports agency, has been appointed as the global broadcast rights holder for the Lanka Premier League, Sri Lanka's top-tier domestic men’s Twenty20 cricket tournament.
The agency will sell rights worldwide to the competition for the second consecutive year.
Marron was again appointed by the IPG Group, the LPL’s official organiser and commercial rights partner.
In its role as exclusive media rights sales agent, Marron will focus on global distribution outside of Sri Lanka.
The 2021 edition of the LPL will begin on Sunday.
Marron was co-founded in 2020 by Lara Richards, the former media rights manager at the International Cricket Council.
