L’Equipe, the French digital sports broadcaster, has acquired a package of domestic rights for the EuroLeague, basketball’s elite European clubs competition, for the remainder of the season.

Under the agreement, L’Equipe will show at least one regular season match per round, as well as the playoffs and Final Four games.

The broadcaster’s coverage will begin on 19 November when it will air the clash between France’s LDLC Asvel Villeurbanne and Spain’s Barcelona.

In each round, one EuroLeague game will be streamed live on the L'Equipe.fr platform while select games will also be aired on L'Equipe TV, the media group's linear channel.

L'Equipe joins a stable of broadcasters offering the EuroLeague to audiences in France.

OLPAY, the OTT platform owned by French soccer giants Olympique Lyonnais, broadcasts all Asvel games in the territory.
