The figures were compiled under the Auditel Total Audience system.

Under the previous Nielsen measurement system, two other Italian soccer matches had achieved higher viewership.

Inter are on course to win their 20th Serie A title.

DAZN recently retained domestic media rights to the Italian top-flight for the next five seasons alongside incumbent rightsholder Sky Italia.

The new deals, running through 2029, are worth at least €4.5 billion ($4.8 billion) in total, equating to €900 million per season. This is a small drop from the current fees paid by Sky and DAZN, however, which come to €930 million annually.
