World Archery has partnered with cloud technology provider Dizplai with the aim of helping to reinvent the governing body’s broadcast graphics.

Collaborating with the federation’s production partner, QTV, Dizplai will provide a new set of graphics for all World Archery competitions.

The new graphics will include real-time scoring and competition data for the main broadcast, audience participation via social media and World Archery’s platforms, interactive alternate streams, and watchalongs with archery experts.

All graphics are designed to work across 16:9 linear broadcasts and social formats.

Ed Abis, chief executive of Dizplai, added: “Across all sports, we are seeing huge demand for what we call ‘active content’, where fans’ opinions and passion are reflected on screens, driving the editorial narrative of the content. We look forward to innovating with World Archery in the years ahead.”

Last December, Joymo, the Norway-based live sports streaming platform, secured a partnership with World Archery to develop its Archery+ streaming platform and broadcast the governing body’s marquee events.
