FuboTV, the US over-the-top live television and sporting streaming service, has agreed an exclusive domestic rights deal with the ACB, the organiser of the top Spanish basketball league, for the next two seasons.

Under the agreement, FuboTV will show all ACB competitions, including the top-flight Liga Endesa, the Copa del Rey, the knockout clubs competition and the Supercopa, for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.

As well as the US, the deal covers rights in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

The deal includes the broadcast rights for live games and highlights, plus a weekly magazine show.

The OTT platform will stream two live games per round on Fubo Sports Network, its live, free-to-consumer TV channel.

The ACB was advised by international sports and entertainment agency Octagon for the media rights sales process in the US.

The top Spanish basketball competition will feature more than 30 US players during the 2021-22 season.

The ACB has concluded several rights deals for the new campaign in recent weeks, renewing with pay-TV broadcasters Sportklub, D-Smart and Charlton in Poland, Turkey and Israel, respectively.

The agreement with the ACB adds another European sports property to FuboTV’s portfolio, having recently secured US rights to Italian soccer’s Serie A.
