FanCode, the Indian digital sports platform, has agreed a late streaming rights deal for the FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup taking place on home soil.

The service will show all 44 games from the tournament live on its platform in India. The matches will be streamed on the FanCode app and its website.

FanCode’s coverage started on the opening day of the World Cup on Friday (January 13), which included India’s 2-0 win over Spain.

The 16-team tournament is being played in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela in the state of Odisha and will conclude with the final on January 29.

FanCode previously streamed the FIH Hockey Nations Cup (men’s and women’s), which was held in South Africa and Spain in November and December 2022.

The digital platform recently renewed its media rights deal for the Bangladesh Premier League domestic Twenty20 cricket competition and secured streaming rights to the remainder of the men’s and women’s 2022-23 seasons of the World Rugby Sevens Series, the annual series of tournaments for the seven-a-side game.
