Indian sports streaming platform FanCode has entered into an exclusive broadcast partnership in the country with Volleyball World, the joint venture aimed at growing the sport between its FIVB international governing body and private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
The two-year deal, announced today (April 24), will see FanCode stream over 2,000 international matches from the Volleyball World portfolio.
These will include marquee events such as the 2023 Beach Volleyball World Championships, 2023 and 2024 Volleyball Nations League, and the 2023 Olympic qualification tournament top-tier competitions.
FanCode will show coverage via its mobile and TV apps, as well as on its website.
The first tournament to be broadcast on FanCode will be the Beach Pro Tour event in Uberlandia, Brazil, which runs from Wednesday (April 26) to Sunday (April 30).
FanCode co-founder Prasana Krishnan said: “This partnership will enable us to provide more value to our growing user base by offering access to a diverse lineup of sports. Volleyball is becoming a popular sport in India and fans can now watch marquee volleyball events from around the globe on FanCode.”
