DAZN, the international sports streaming service, has secured rights to the upcoming Tennis Cup, part of the Riyadh Season entertainment festival in the Saudi capital.

The OTT platform will serve as the exclusive global production and broadcast partner of the tournament.

The cup, which takes place on December 26 and 27, will see the top-two ranked players in men’s tennis – Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz – go head to head, as well as two of the biggest names in the women’s game, Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur.

DAZN will broadcast the matches live and on-demand to more than 200 markets on smart TVs, tablets, mobiles, and games consoles.

The Tennis Cup is part of the wider annual Riyadh Season art, music, food, theatre, and sports festival.

The deal adds to DAZN’s growing coverage of sports in Saudi Arabia, with the streaming service also covering domestic soccer’s top-tier Women’s Premier League, while also having a similar coverage tie-up for the men’s Saudi Pro League.
