DAZN, the international OTT streaming service, has capitalized on the country’s recent FIFA World Cup 2026 triumph by securing the rights to the UEFA national team games from the UEFA Nations League annual competition and qualifying matches of the 2028 European Championships.
In total, DAZN will broadcast over 500 UEFA national team soccer fixtures over the next two years, including every match from the UEFA Nations League group stage, quarter-finals, and ‘Final Phase’ sections.

This will include Spanish national team fixtures, should the team qualify for the final stage (Spain finished runners-up in the previous edition of the Nations League.
Furthermore, DAZN will also broadcast all UEFA Euro 2028 qualification matches from across the continent, and national team friendly fixtures.
DAZN says that this will include all live games played by major nations such as England, France, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.
Spain fixtures across the period will also be included, though only on a delayed basis, as public-service broadcaster RTVE holds live rights.
All matches broadcast by DAZN will be exclusive, excluding the right to the first-pick match each matchday, which is held by RTVE also, and DAZN will offer many of these games on a free-to-air basis as a means of enticing new customers.
Speaking on the announcement, DAZN Iberia chief Oscar Vilda said: “We are thrilled to expand our international football offering with two of UEFA’s most attractive properties. This agreement is a step forward in continuing to build the leading platform for football fans in Spain.
"Offering the Nations League, as well as the qualifying matches of historical powers such as England, France or Germany, guarantees a continuous spectacle for our subscribers, who in addition to the live matches will be able to enjoy the best analysis and summaries whenever and wherever they want."
This complements a domestic media rights package for DAZN that already includes the top-flight LaLiga, second-tier LaLiga Hypermotion, women’s top-flight Liga F, and most recently, the men’s third-tier Primera Federacion.
In terms of other recent DAZN activity in Spain, meanwhile, earlier this month the service announced a multi-year deal through which it will cover French soccer's Ligue 1 in the former market.
DAZN is now exclusively showcasing every game from the top-flight competition, with two matches each week broadcast with Spanish-language commentary.
That deal ensures that DAZN holds the rights to all of Europe’s so-called ‘Big Five’ leagues (the English Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, and LaLiga) in the Spanish territory.
