DAZN, the global sports streaming service, and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), the multinational media and entertainment giant, have renewed their distribution deal until 2026.

Through the renewed three-year agreement, WBD’s Eurosport pan-European sports broadcaster will continue to be carried on DAZN in five of its European markets – Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Subscribers in those markets will have live and on-demand access to content on the Eurosport 1 HD and Eurosport 2 HD linear TV channels which feature sports events in tennis, cycling, and motorsports.

The channels will be available in all DAZN subscription packages.

Once again, the Eurosport Player streaming service is not included.

The broadcaster’s sports rights portfolio includes the Olympics, tennis’ Australia Open and French Open grand slams, FIS World Cup skiing, cycling's Tour de France, La Vuelta, and Giro d’Italia, and motor racing’s Formula E and Le Mans 24 hours.

In Spain, DAZN also offers matches from Spanish soccer’s La Liga every week, as well as the English Premier League, Liga F, UEFA Women’s Champions League, Formula 1, MotoGP, and boxing.

The previous agreement between the two parties was signed in 2019 and only covered Germany, Austria, Spain, and Italy, while Switzerland was later added in 2020.

Tom Sheppard, partnership development director at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, said: “As a leading sports destination in Europe, we believe that Eurosport represents a very attractive and complementary offer to the content proposals of our partners.

“DAZN has been a valued partner in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland over the past three years and our agreement is another example of how we are able to give sports fans the ability to follow the competitions they love the way they like.”
