Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
The platform will air the next six seasons of the 20-team league, from the 2026-27 campaign through the end of 2031-32.
This strengthens the grip that CazeTV has been slowly but surely placing on major sports rights in Brazil.
LaLiga has featured a significant number of Brazilian soccer icons over the years, and includes players such as Real Madrid group Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and Endrick, now.
The deal has been unveiled with the 2025-26 LaLiga season coming to an end tomorrow (May 23).
Why it matters
Brazil is one of the few significant markets worldwide where a streaming platform – run by the LiveMode firm now – has been able to acquire such a wide range of prominent sports rights in recent years – as CazeTV has.
Launched in 2022, CazeTV covered action from that year's men’s soccer's flagship FIFA World Cup, before securing rights to all 104 matches from the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which is taking place across June and July in the Americas.
It has also snapped up domestic rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027, which will be held in Brazil, to provide exclusive live coverage of all 64 matches to its wide-reaching audience on third-party digital platforms.
This year alone, meanwhile, the streamer has acquired near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties, and rights for the top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions.
The streamer has also covered Italy’s Serie A in 2025-26, and has, in addition, added German soccer’s Bundesliga to its portfolio.
Peter Scrimgeour, a senior sport analyst at GlobalData, explains the trends behind CazeTV's rise: "Sports leagues are shifting from traditional broadcast-only models to multi-layered media rights strategies that include creator-led digital distribution – especially on YouTube and Twitch – to reach younger, global audiences. As TV viewership declines, influencers have become a core part of rights and monetisation strategies, bringing relatability and authenticity, creative freedom, agile storytelling, and highly engaged coverage that resonates with Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
"A clear example is LaLiga’s recent deal with Brazil’s CazeTV, run by YouTube star Casimiro Miguel, which grants the channel primary LaLiga rights in Brazil and enables free YouTube streaming of all matches from the 2026–27 season. Similar approaches are emerging across the industry: the German Bundesliga has paired free-to-air Friday matches with major UK-based YouTube creators The Overlap and That’s Football; French content creator Zack Nani streams Saudi Pro League matches for free on his YouTube and Twitch channels in France; and [American football's] NFL has experimented with YouTube livestreams that integrate top creators.
"Rights holders are increasingly using these partnerships to accelerate growth in strategic markets and build fandom through social-first, creator-driven formats rather than relying solely on linear TV. As audiences fragment across a growing number of platforms, more sports leagues are likely to replicate these types of rights deals to reach younger demographics."
The details
CazeTV’s YouTube channel is set to act as the main LaLiga rightsholder in Brazil, and will provide live coverage of all games for the duration of the six-year contract.
As part of the agreement, CazeTV will also gain the right to distribute ancillary content and highlights across its other social media platforms.
CazeTV replaces media giant Disney, whose five-year rights deal, running between the 2020-21 and 2025-26 seasons, is coming to an end. Over the course of its contract, it has aired matches via its international sports broadcaster, ESPN, and the Fox Sports network.
The deal comes amid a significant growth period for CazeTV, with its parent company, LiveMode, the Brazilian sports marketing agency, securing soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo as a major investor last week.
In December, LiveMode expanded into Ronaldo’s native Portugal with LiveModeTV, launching a digital channel and securing rights to the top match per game per day (34 in total) from the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament across June and July, which it will air for free on YouTube.
