North American basketball’s NBA has named Phoenix, Arizona as the host city of the 2027 All-Star game.

The 76th edition of the event will be held at Footprint Center, home of the Phoenix Suns, on February 21, 2027.

Phoenix will host the NBA All-Star game for the fourth time, having staged the event in 1975, 1995, and 2009.

In January, the NBA announced the 2026 edition will be held in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, which will be the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers, marking the 75th NBA All-Star game, and the record seventh in LA.

This season’s All-Star game was held in Indianapolis last month (February), while the 2025 edition will be staged in San Francisco at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors.

All-Star events at Footprint Center will take place from February 19 to 21, starting with NBA Rising Stars, the annual showcase for top rookies and second-year NBA players, followed by the All-Star Saturday Night event featuring the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Challenge, and Slam Dunk contest, culminating with the All-Star game itself on the Sunday night.

In addition to events at the arena, the NBA will host festivities around Phoenix.

The events, such as the NBA All-Star practice, the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and an NBA All-Star fan fest, will feature basketball programming, entertainment, and access to NBA players, legends, and celebrities.

Finally, the league will also hold NBA Cares community events through the weekend, partnering with schools, as well as local and national non-profit organizations, providing resources to the programs.

Phoenix will additionally host the WNBA All-Star festivities this year.
