Volleyball World, the joint venture between the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and CVC Capital Partners, has begun bidding processes for the Men’s and Women’s Volleyball World Championships in both 2025 and 2027.

The joint venture has, because of what it has cited as “growing interest from potential hosts and the increasing value of the FIVB World Championships,” selected The Sports Consultancy, the London-based agency, to assist during the bidding process.

The pair claim to have “developed an innovative and collaborative bidding process to find the next hosts for these prestigious events.”

The process officially began yesterday (August 1), with the FIVB having invited all 222 national federations to express interest.

Interested parties have until August 31 to do so, while TSC will also be “inviting event organizers and host cities to express interest.”

Countries to have expressed interest in hosting the women's edition, so far, include Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
