Stats Perform, the international sports data and technology provider, has extended its deal with Football DataCo (FDC), the UK company jointly owned by English soccer’s top-tier Premier League and second-tier English Football League (EFL), and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), to collect and distribute event data from matches.

The renewed agreement will run until the end of the 2024-25 season and prolongs a 10-year-long exclusive official rights partnership.

Stats Perform will continue to collect and distribute detailed data for 3,000 matches per season across English and Scottish soccer.

The exclusive partnership will cover official player tracking data for Premier League, EFL, and SPFL rightsholders, data for broadcast, media, and fantasy purposes, and official player market data only for betting.

Stats Perform chief commercial officer, Alex Rice, said: “At Stats Perform we are committed owners of our large, deep Opta football data API.
