IMG Arena, the betting arm of the sports and entertainment heavyweight, has promoted Mark Wrigley to the position of vice president, head of rights.
Wrigley first joined IMG Arena in March 2014, in a junior business development role, after beginning his career at Sportradar, the sports data intelligence and digital services provider.
He became a senior rights director in March of last year and has now ascended to head up that section of the IMG division.
IMG Arena is headed up by Freddie Longe, who became president in April 2022.
In January, the division acquired global betting streaming rights for the top two divisions of Norwegian soccer.
Other IMG Arena clients from the world of soccer include the English Football Association, and North America’s Major League Soccer (through a long-term deal struck last July).
