The FIH, field hockey’s international governing body, has today appointed Sportradar, the international sports data intelligence and digital content service provider, as its exclusive betting data rights partner until the end of 2030.

Effective immediately, Sportradar will have the rights to both collect and distribute internationally betting data from all FIH competitions – including the FIH Hockey World Cups, FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers, FIH Indoor Hockey World Cups, FIH Hockey Pro League and FIH Hockey5s World Cups – for the next nine years.

The deal will involve Sportradar providing the FIH with a “bespoke competition management platform to manage their tournaments and data more effectively.”

The platform will be made available to all FIH member associations, and will help “manage competitions, match results, player statistics, and rankings.”

The partnership will last until the end of the 2029-30 season.

The FIH will “harness the data to provide more insights to engage hockey fans around the world.”

Sportradar will also provide the FIH with integrity services, in the form of its Universal Fraud Detection Service. This will “help the maintain the integrity of FIH competitions and protect them from match-fixing and other risks.”
