Miami Super Bowl host committee attracts new partners
Miami Super Bowl Committee, the body in charge of organising American football’s Super Bowl LIV next February, has named five brands as new event partners.
The 2020 Super Bowl, the culmination of the league's 100th season, will take place at the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium on 2 February.
Truist (retail banking service), Footprint (sustainable solutions technology), Deliver Lean (meal delivery service), Safer Watch (event-based security application), and American Medical Response (a leading emergency transportation provider), have all partnered with the committee, and will all perform activations and have a presence at the event.
Rodney Barreto, chairman of the host committee, said: “It’s great to welcome these companies into the exclusive group of those looking to be part of this huge Miami event, where the world will be watching, and we simply couldn’t do it without these great partners.”
This will be the 11th Super Bowl held in Miami, making the city in Florida the most regular host to date.
Truist will be the event’s official bank, and the main partner of the event’s hospitality areas, while Footprint will join the host city’s environmental initiative.
Pre-packaged meals for all Super Bowl LIV volunteers throughout the event week will be provided by Deliver Lean, staff will use Safer Watch to report incidents to the police if necessary, and AMR has been selected as the Super Bowl’s official medical transportation service.
Last month, Fox Sports, the US national sports network, announced it had sold its entire inventory of advertising slots for the Super Bowl for a record $5.6 million.
It marked the first time in five years that all the commercials for the major event sold out before Thanksgiving, as sales have gone down to the wire in recent seasons.
