Infront contracts over 60 broadcasters for upcoming IBSF World Cup
Infront, the international sports marketing agency heavily involved in winter sports, has secured broadcast coverage in more than 60 countries for the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation’s upcoming World Cup season.
Infront, which has worked with the IBSF since 2002, said it has secured extensive broadcast coverage for all eight stages of the 2019-20 season, which starts at Lake Placid, USA on Saturday.
The agency will produce the host broadcasting coverage for all eight World Cup events, as well as for the 2020 IBSF World Championships in Altenberg, Germany, in February.
In addition to this linear television coverage, Infront will also make all races from the World Cup available for live-streaming on the federation's YouTube channel in selected territories.
In 2017, Infront extended its media and marketing deal with the IBSF until 2022, and in the same year brokered the agreement for German car manufacturer BMW to remain as a major IBSF sponsor for flagship events in biathlon, bobsleigh and skeleton and luge.
BMW is currently the title sponsor of the bobsleigh and skeleton World Cup and World Championship, in a deal running until the end of the 2021-22 season.
