Geox to title sponsor Rome E-Prix as Formula E to race in Paris for three more years
Formula E, the electric car racing series, has signed up Geox, the Italian shoe and clothing brand, as title sponsor of the second edition of the Rome E-Prix on 13 April.
Geox is already the main sponsor of the US Dragon Formula E racing team, in a deal that began in December last year.
Geox’s Rome stores will promote the race through special shop windows dedicated to sustainability, innovation and technology between 6 and 14 April.
Meanwhile, Formula E has signed an agreement to continue to race in Paris for a further three seasons, with the new deal coming into effect after this year’s race later this month.
The Paris race features a track around the historic Les Invalides area of the city.
This season there are 13 races in 12 countries: five in Europe (Germany, France, Monaco, Switzerland and Italy); three in Asia (Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and China); three in North America (Mexico and a double-header in USA); one in South America (Chile); and one in Africa (Morocco).
