World Bowl to be broadcast in more than 80 countries
The NFL Europe League’s championship game, contested by the Scottish Claymores and Rhein Fire in Frankfurt’s Waldstadion on Sunday (June 25) will be broadcast to more than 80 countries, reaching an estimated audience of more than 200 million.
For the fifth straight year, World Bowl will be broadcast live by FOX TV in the United States. FOX, the NFL’s joint venture partner in the NFL Europe League, provides the pictures of NFLEL action that are seen around the world.
In Germany, the game will be aired live by DSF and Premiere World. German station SAT 1 will air highlights of the World Bowl on Tuesday night after the game.
Claymores fans in the United Kingdom will be watching live on Sky Sports, for whom FOX broadcaster and former NFL offensive lineman Brian Baldinger will provide game analysis. Scottish TV will air highlights on Wednesday night, while Channel 5 will show the full game on Tuesday night.
