FanCode, the Indian digital sports platform, has renewed its media rights deal in that country to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) domestic Twenty20 cricket competition.
The deal gives FanCode exclusive Indian streaming rights to the 46-game competition, which this year will take place between January 6 (tomorrow) and February 16.
All fixtures from the seven-team BPL will be covered live via both the FanCode mobile app and the FanCode online site. The site also claims to be offering specific tournament passes for fans, without the need to take out a monthly or yearly subscription.
FanCode has covered the BPL in India since the 2020 edition and also streamed Afghanistan’s tour of Bangladesh for an Indian audience in the early months of 2022.
Before the 2019 deal with FanCode, BPL action was shown in India by the DSport broadcaster.
The International Cricket Council, Cricket West Indies, and the England and Wales Cricket Board all have deals in place with FanCode too.
