CPLG Wins Exclusive Jordan Formula One Licensing Deal
The Copyright Promotions Licensing Group Ltd. (CPLG), one of the world’s leading entertainment, sports and brands licensing agents, has been appointed exclusive worldwide licensing agency for Jordan Grand Prix, the leading Formula 1 team which compete under the name DHL Jordan Honda. The agreement will see CPLG handling Jordan’s licensing and merchandising rights.
CPLG’s Sports Division will set about building a select merchandising programme for Jordan Grand Prix and will focus on establishing key partners in each core product category.
The programme will involve all product areas including apparel, toys, publishing, food and various promotions. The licensable marks available for use by retailers and manufacturers include the Jordan Grand Prix team logo and the Jordan Grand Prix Formula One car image and likeness.

CPLG secured the appointment by virtue of its renowned sports licensing track record. The agency is the exclusive worldwide licensing agency for 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM (excluding Asia Pacific), the Rugby Football Union, the England & Wales Cricket Board and Chelsea Football Club.
