TNT Sports, the Skydance-owned UK pay-TV broadcaster, has snapped up exclusive live rights to the 2026-27 Australian home cricket season.
This comes as part of a wider tie-up which will also see free-to-air UK broadcaster 5, also owned by Skydance, provide exclusive highlights from the Australia v England limited-overs fixtures next month (three one-day internationals and five Twenty20 fixtures).

These short-term tie-ups with the Cricket Australia governing body have been unveiled by TNT today.
In total, TNT will air 16 games live from the Australian home international summer, both from men's and women's series'. This includes nine fixtures between Australia and England overall – eight limited-overs games in November and early December, followed by a test match in Melbourne in mid-March, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of cricket's first-ever test.
There will also be seven fixtures against New Zealand aired (four men's tests and three women's one-day internationals).
TNT adds this to an upcoming cricket rights portfolio that already includes New Zealand's and India's home fixtures across the next few months.
The broadcaster, owned by Skydance through the WBD Sports division – Skydance completed its WBD takeover earlier this month – also aired the Ashes test cricket series in Australia over the 2025-26 season (it has covered every Ashes since 2017-18).
Its main UK rival for cricket rights, pay-TV heavyweight Sky, does not cover as much overseas cricket as it used to, although it does hold rights for England's upcoming tour of South Africa.
The recent Australian two-test home series against Bangladesh, which finished 1-1, was aired in the UK by sports subscription platform DAZN, meanwhile.
TNT also airs top-tier sporting properties such as soccer's English Premier League and UEFA Champions League, the Olympic Games through 2032, Prem Rugby, MotoGP, and Grand Slam tennis.
