The Dallas Mavericks National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise has renewed its partnership with Italian digital production firm Deltatre on a new multi-year basis.

Deltatre will continue to operate the technology behind the Mavericks’ direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming platform, now known as MavsTV+, powering graphic enhancements, data integration, and new digital affordances on Mavs broadcasts.

The pair will collaborate throughout the 2026-27 campaign and beyond, including live game streaming, ancillary content and shoulder programming, with as many as five new series’ coming this year alone.

The MavsTV+ service is powered by Deltatre’s pure-play over-the-top product, Vesper, which works in tandem with the NBA’s own integrated digital platform.

Going forward, the Mavs will leverage Vesper to garner first-party customer data and insights to power commercial growth through advertising, pricing, customer acquisition, and renewals.

Speaking on the renewal, Mavs senior vice president for business development Ronnie Fauss said: “We made a clear decision to own the streaming experience we deliver to our fans, and we’re glad we did.

“We’ve seen a significant uptick in viewership and identified fans we previously could not see. Deltatre has been a true extension of our organization, helping us navigate the complexities of DTC, and we’re excited for the years ahead.”

Deltatre chief revenue officer Peter Bellamy added: “Rights holders are now seeing the value of a diversified distribution mix, and our role is to ensure they can build commercially successful DTC relationships underpinned by world-class digital and OTT ecosystems, complemented by highly specialized services.”

The Mavericks launched the MavsTV+ service (then known simply as MavsTV) alongside Endeavor Streaming – an arm of sports business heavyweight Endeavor – in late 2024.

Deltatre acquired the Endeavor Streaming business in July 2025, taking over the Vesper platform and its clients, including the Mavericks.

After the first four games of the 2026-27 NBA season, the Mavericks boast an even record of two wins and two losses.
