FIBA has renewed its partnership with global transport company Kuehne+Nagel, which retains its position as the global basketball governing body's official global logistics supplier for another three years.
The agreement builds on the pair’s original partnership signed in 2023, with Kuehne+Nagel focusing on enhancing the quality of logistical operations for FIBA events and lowering the federation’s global carbon footprint.

The new deal will see Kuehne+Nagel continue to provide logistics assistance for major FIBA global and continental competitions, including the women’s (2026) and men’s (2027) Basketball World Cup being held in Germany and Qatar, respectively.
Beyond competitions, Kuehne+Nagel’s support will extend to FIBA’s broader ecosystem, with the company assisting national federations, local organizing committees, partners, and other stakeholders.
Frank Leenders, director general of FIBA Media and Marketing Services, said: "We are delighted to be able to extend our collaboration for another three years, especially as one of the main aims for both parties from the outset was to develop a long-term collaboration.
"With increasingly complex logistical challenges across the globe, it's important that we are able to count on a FIBA official supplier like Kuehne+Nagel, who have shown they can deliver for FIBA and for national federations with sustainable logistics solutions."
The new deal comes as FIBA continues to expand its presence, awarding the 2030 Women’s World Cup to Japan and the 2031 men’s edition to France.
The Japanese capital, Tokyo, will host the 2030 women’s tournament from November 26 to December 8. Three French cities – Lille, Lyon, and Paris – will play host to the men’s World Cup from August 29 to September 14, 2031, with the final phase to be played in Paris.
The governing body has also continued to add to its commercial partnership portfolio, unveiling investment platform XTB as a new global partner for its major tournaments through 2027 earlier this year.
XTB is FIBA’s ninth global partner, joining Ganten, Molten, Nike, TCL, Tissot, Smart, 1xBet, and Yili, which renewed its deal with the federation last year.
